Sports day
You might like to have another sports day or just try some of the activities. Here is the website we used: Sports Day

EPIC! is definitely our favouite discovery of this time.  If you haven't already, log on and use this fantastic resource.
Contact teachers for class codes

Summer Reading Challenge  Eyrecourt Library is hosting a Summer Reading Challenge

Apparently we are the only school in the country to have a "Library Zoom" and because of this Eyrecourt Library has been allowed open for the summer for all the pupils of our school.
Parents need to email Laura [email protected] to register with their child's name and birth year.
Each registered child will collect 12 books from the library and maintain a reading record. Books on Epic or other sites also count on the reading record.
Books can be exchanged by contacting Laura.
Laura will host a library Zoom every Thursday at 2.15pm for pupils in 3rd class and upwards.
We are so fortunate to have this. Portumna library still isn't open so to have this for the children of Eyrecourt is unbelievable. It's a nice way to keep your child reading over the summer. Comics, graphic novels, picture books, autobiographies, short stories, long stories.....it really doesn't matter what your child reads as long as they enjoy it.
